A little about me When I started this blog in 09' I was a legal secretary, since then I've finished my Master's in Library Science (School Media), recently finished a CAS in Cultural Heritage Preservation and am going back to school (online) for a CAS in Native American Studies at Montana State University in Billings. So I'm continuing to live up to that whole "career student" title that I jokingly received long about year 6 of college. Aside from all the school, I'm also still running and training for OCR's and Trail races (no more road racing for me), working full time as a middle school librarian, coaching, teaching dance and reading whenever I can. In other words, I'm busy, but I will hopefully be able to take the time to keep this site updated on the regular!
About A Reader's Ramblings I started this blog in September of 2009 as a way to just put my thoughts out there about the books I was reading (and I was reading alot). Since then I've been able to both focus in terms of the types of books I review (mostly YA) and branch out in terms of what I'm doing.
It's amazing to me that we are coming up on almost a decade of blogging! This page is no longer be just about books. I've got way more the ramble on about then just what I find between the covers of a good book. Over the past several years, I've been blogging on multiple sites about multiple things and A Reader's Rambling is now a place to streamline. So you'll be getting my ramblings on anything that strikes my fancy... books, movies, TV, vacations, politics, races I've run, photography, etc.
