Storytelling takes many forms and this week we were tasked with creating a podcast. Telling a personal story or folktale (or any tale) that moved us. One thing everyone should probably know is that I love to tell a story. I like to have a microphone in my hand and a crowd in front of me and I like to perform. There's a reason that a lot of assemblies at school include me talking about something. I'm sure that trait says something deep about me, but mostly, I just think it's a lot of fun! I used to make a lot of book review videos, and I've wanted to try podcasting for awhile, but it seemed to be something that just never made it to the top of the to-do list. Thankfully, this week it became a requirement, and I have to say, I loved it! My wheels are already spinning with all the ways I can use this new found (and really easy!) tool.
For now- I'll just share my story. It's the story of how I became a librarian, and it involves Twilight. A lot of Twilight. Sometimes the greatest things can come in the strangest packages. Enjoy!
To create my podcast I used the Voice Memo App in my iPhone and uploaded it into Podomatic. Super easy to do!
